Absent from Canada for more than 25 years, The Gulf Brand, is back to Canada.

Teklub Distribution Inc, created in 2002 by Jean-Marc Alcaraz, with his instinctive perception to sell and distribute automotive lubricants across Eastern Canada, is proud to be an actor of Gulf Oil’s return to Canada.

In Canada, Teklub is building a distribution network based on both direct and sub distribution. Sub-distributors are companies involved in the automotive business, willing to dedicate sales men to lubricants sales, able to cover their territory with frequent customer visits and operating delivery trucks to supply their area in bulk. Teklub proposes “protected” geographical territories to sub-distributors that carry the full range of products.

Gulf lubricants in Canada

Gulf carries a wide variety of high quality products : supported by multiple production plants and high tech research laboratories around the world, Gulf is with no doubt a world leader in the synthetic lubricants field.

Cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, heavy duty equipments, agriculture vehicles and industries are Gulf’s predilection segments.

Gulf products are imported from two European plants. Thanks to Teklub skills and Alain Faleix solid background in lubricants business, some high quality products, approved by API and ILSAC will be produced right here in Canada in order to fit better to Canadian market.

Teklub is proud to participate to Canadian economic activity transferring international high tech technology to local market.

Environmental Issues

 
Teklub and Gulf are concerned by environmental issues and, at their respective levels both companies are working to reduce impact on environment.

Teklub, as member of SOGHU and Stewardship Ontario organizations, is collecting fees on lubricants, coolants and plastics containers in Quebec and Ontario provinces, used oil collection is also among the projects.

Currently Teklub is setting up extended drain interval programs based on oil analysis to reduce oil waste in our country.
